Writing: A Tool for Life

In the past twelve weeks I have worked toward writing a research paper that required my subject to have a scientific controversy. This was a fun and challenging experience. Putting sentences together should be a simple elementary task to accomplish but I have learned that that those simple little words did not do a thing for the content of my paper except take up space. I learned how to revise my sentences to delete those small words and still have a proper sentences. I have also learned how to properly use commas, semicolons, and colons. Those were probably the most confusing for me because I always thought separations in ideas of a sentence should be done with the comma; so untrue.
Writing was once a very scary task for me.This course has really helped me to see beyond my fear and use writing more as a tool than a chore. Thanks to all my fellow classmates and the wonderful professor that helped me get there!

My Final Paper!

Well here it is, the last two weeks of my College Comp II class and I am feeling very good about the paper I have written. I am in the final stages of completing the paper; just a few more adjustments to make and I'll be ready. I have learned so much since the start of this writing class. I was very nervous in the beginning, but 8 weeks later, my paper has really seemed to fall in place with all the helpful tips from my fellow classmates and my professor. I could not have put this paper together without them. This class has been a great pleasure and a wonderful learning experience.
